Light Phone 2
This is an alternative to the Punkt. MP02 device. This is a similar device and, in some ways, more capable (maps, in particular, are available) and rugged than the Punkt (silicon case and screen protector available); however, there is no integration to Signal yet. It will be available for purchase in Late August and is so capable on paper that we make it available as a good alternative to Punkt.
NB: There is also a Light Phone 3 that will ship around the end of the calendar year 2024. It is a more powerful bit of hardware and more appropriate for adults who want “car key” capabilities and other functionality that adults will find missing from their standard smart phone.
